Job Summary:
Performs a variety of customer service, in store, marketing, promoting, advertising and stocking duties related to the receiving, sale and delivery of parts and accessories that contribute to the efficient, safe, and profitable operation of the dealerships parts department. Ongoing responsibility for assisting with the counter parts sales and customer service responsibilities.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Serves customer by helping them select products
- Drives sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge
- Greets and receives customers in and welcoming manner
- Responds to customer questions
- Directs customers by escorting them
- Provides outstanding customer service
- Install in-store signage
- Create product tags
- Manage product displays
- Manage store appearance (cleaning, front facing, straightening)
- Rotate product stocking
- Update product information (pricing, SKU, bar codes)
- Participate in offsite events
- Maintain parts inventory system
- Determine best parts suppliers
- Order parts and accessories
- Receive parts
- Manage inventory levels
- Return parts (Defective, warranties, obsolete)
- Perform cycle counts
- Assist with physical inventory
- Prepare for daily operations
- Assist customers in anyway needed
- Complete parts sales transactions
- Promote product benefits and features
- Track lost part sales
- Troubleshoot daily issues
- Manage quote book
- Maintain office equipment
- Order office supplies
- Order and maintain shop supplies
- Maintain customer files
- Participate in staff meetings
- Participate in internal and vendor training
- Participate in cross-training
- Review professional publications
- Network with industry representatives
- Any other assigned tasks

Education and Experience:
- At least 1 year of experience in Parts Department operations preferred.
- Ability to use standard computer applications such.
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
- Basic knowledge of recreational vehicles is preferred.
- Ability to apply techniques of suggestive selling in daily work.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Prolonged periods of walking and standing
- Prolonged periods of bending and kneeling
- Ability to safely use a ladder and work at heights
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
